I have always been drawn to the stories that shape our lives, give us meaning, and underscore the ways in which we relate to ourselves and others. I view therapy as a unique opportunity to explore our own stories and ultimately better understand the patterns, relationships, and experiences that impact our ways of being. Together, we can reflect on the themes and patterns in your stories, work to understand how they have both helped and limited you over time, and ultimately help you create a fuller, more expansive life.
I work with a wide variety of people and particularly enjoy working with those who are curious about themselves and interested in working collaboratively towards self-understanding. My particular areas of focus include:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Complicated relationships (romantic, family, work, etc)
- Fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum issues
- Identity, self esteem, and sense of self
- Life transitions, including parenthood, marriage, and career issues
I am an out-of-network provider, which means that I do not directly bill insurance companies. Most people, however, are able to be reimbursed by their insurance companies for a significant portion of our sessions. I will provide you with monthly statements that you can submit for potential reimbursement.
If you do wish to use insurance, I recommend you reach out to your insurance company to determine their reimbursement rate for out-of-network mental health clinicians.
