Observation of the Observers Observing - Presenter: Tom Saunders, MSW Discussant: Ann Glasser, PhD

Saturday, May 13, 2017 10:00am to 12:00pm
Center for Object Relations
2800 First Ave, Suite 117
Seattle, WA 98121
Sponsored by:
COR

Bring your observing Self to this event. Open to awaken your feelings and thinking while you observe an infant observation group.

"The popular image of the zipper-mouthed, detached analyst-scientist really no longer applies. The comparison instead should be with a trained and skilled, but constantly improving musican who, like the patient, has to live and learn from felt experience and - not surprisingly - also (like the infant and mother) from practice" (Alvarez, 1992)

Participants will be observing through multiple lenses the felt experience that reflects the development of the emotional life of the infant in an ordinary family.

No pre-registration. Register at the door.

Members: Free, Non-Members; $20, CEUs $10

For more information, go to the COR website

Note: It is likely that Daniel and Sue will be rescheduling their topic to another date, yet to be announced.
