I practice from a relational psychodynamic perspective, meaning that I believe that relationships have shaped us and our views of the world, and that we aren't always entirely aware of what's going on in our minds. Before I went back to school for counseling, I was a certified special education teacher. I primarily worked with elementary-aged students with moderate to severe disabilities. After becoming a parent, I started to understand more about the importance of attachment and responsive parenting. I am excited to use both my understanding of child development and my training in psychotherapy to help people live more fully.
$140 - 50 minute sessions (weekly individual sessions)
I believe that mental health support should be accessible to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances. That's why I offer a pay-what-you-can policy with a sliding scale down to $40/session. I understand that financial constraints can be a barrier to seeking help, so I have conversations with clients around finding a fee based on their own financial situation. This flexible approach ensures that everyone can access the support they need to prioritize their mental well-being. My goal is to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where individuals feel empowered to take control of their mental health journey without the burden of financial stress.
