I graduated from Seattle University with degrees in Humanities and Religious Studies. I went on to get my master’s in counseling psychology at The Seattle School, after which I worked as a therapist and case manager at Seattle Counseling Service, the nation’s oldest LGBTQ-focused counseling agency. My work also included coordination for SCS’s Needle and Sex Education Outreach Network, a HIV-prevention and harm reduction program. In my practice, I also have worked with people in non-monogamous relationships, sex workers, and intersex people. My therapeutic experience includes working with depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, suicidal thoughts, self-harming behavior, relationship and attachment issues, relational trauma, intimacy issues, grief and loss, and transitional issues.
I am a non-binary (they/them pronouns), queer, Filipino-American, POC therapist. I am a child of immigrants, an American citizen, and was raised and reside in Coast Salish, Duwamish, and Muckleshoot land. I am able-bodied and allistic. I believe these identities (and others) can contribute to the work in ways that absolutely need safe and open expression with each other.
I am also an unabashed geek who loves playing tabletop and video games, cartoons and anime, sci-fi/fantasy, comics and the classics.
