Kate Mecklenburg Wright

I am therapist that serves teens and adults at my practice in Tukwila. I primarily provide individual counseling. I am a relationally focused therapist, which means that we will look at what happens between us as a map to guide us in recognizing your struggles and building on your strengths. I have a background in clinical social work, and received my Master's in Social Work in 2008 from the University of Pennsylvania. Since then I have received further training and certification in the treatment of addictions, infant and early childhood mental health, and psychodynamic psychotherapy. I have worked with people of all ages and backgrounds in a variety of clinical settings. I am member of several professional organizations in the Seattle metro area where I continue to further my training and understanding of the therapeutic process, including the Northwest Alliance for Psychoanalytic Study, the Center for Object Relations, and the Washington Association for Infant Mental Health.
